Company Driver Training

Hello! Driver Training train drivers to be aware of their safety by managing their time and distance travelled. We show drivers how to be cost effective by the way they drive and the loads they carry.
If any of your drivers have six points or more on their licence they could be at risk of a collision or acquire more points for bad driving. We are able to reduce this risk with our training programme.

Other benefits are lower insurance premiums, improved fuel use, staff feel valued, vehicles on the road longer and you could protect yourself from prosecution under the health and safety act for corporate manslaughter.

On occasions drivers end up going to court for driving offences. Driver training before attending court can lead to a more favourable conclusion so the driver can keep his / her licence and ultimately their job.
When recruiting a new driver. How do you know he / she is a good driver? A one hour driving assessment before you make up your mind will help you.

What we cover: -

  • A short presentation with interaction
  • Comprehension questions
  • Road signs
  • Pre-start vehicle checks (company or personal vehicle)
  • Loading vehicles
  • Initial drive with assessment
  • Demonstration drive
  • Driver training
  • Driver fault analysis and report
  • How to respond to emergency vehicles
  • Final report on your training (including recommendations)
  • All clients to receive a copy of The Highway Code.
New recruits one hour assessment drive with a report.

All other training is carried out on a 1-2-1 arrangement with a report and recommendations.

A deposit is required to confirm a booking with full payment at the start of the course.
